New Skills – Stairs

Before we left for Cabo, we were at Tom and Morags for a few days and I taught Royal how to go down stairs while we were there.  Now, she turns and goes down anything that is close to a stair, even this little step at the condo that goes out onto the deck.

The One and Only Palmilla

Of course, we went and had cadillac margarita’s, and thought this was a good time to give Royal lime for the first time.  She didn’t like it.

Walking Around – Shallow End

Royal has started walking around in the shallow end of the pool.  It’s amazing to see how quickly she’s been able to figure it out.

In this next clip, Royal is hanging out in the pool, turns herself around using the heals of her feet as she does so often now, and then goes to stand up without using her hands.  I’d like to see anyone else attempt that move!

Getting Curly

Royals hair is growing in fast now, and as it comes in, you can tell its starting to get curly.  check her out!

Out for Breakfast

We went out for Breakfast at this great French bakery in San Jose.  There are some pics of Royal deciding what to get. 

And a video of here eating breakfast as well.  Not that it’s all that interesting, but I know her aunties grandparents will want to see it.

Royal diving in the pool

I’ll get a better video of her throwing herself in later, as she literally does this all on her own now, but I like this clip because you see her under the water and the point to the camera after she comes up.

Royal Swimming at El Zalate

Okay, my baby girl is amazing.  I know I’m her dad and I’m going to brag.  But she is amazing.

In this video you can see her under the water learning to get her footing in a shallow part of the pool while she’s in her floating lily pad.

In this video she has it completely figured out, but almost walks herself right out of her lily pad as she got to a super shallow section.

We are loving Cabo today!  3 weeks is going to be awesome
